Deborah Elder, LCSW, Founder
Deborah is a licensed clinical psychotherapist who earned her degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. Born in Paris and having spent 30 years in the United States, she brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to her work. Drawing on her own experience of adapting to life abroad and returning home, she deeply understands the challenges of not always “finding your place.”
She works with young adults, adults, and older adults in individual, couples, and family therapy, with a particular focus on expatriates and their families. Deborah is bilingual in English and French and offers sessions in both languages. She uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual, creating a thoughtful and personalized therapeutic experience.
Based in the south of France, Deborah offers remote sessions via Zoom to clients locally and internationally. She believes therapy is an individual journey and works collaboratively with each client to help them overcome obstacles and build a more fulfilling life.
